The entire Ohio Valley Legend Car Series event list is set to be released in mid January highlighting the busiest schedule in series history.

Below is the full Atomic Speedway Legend Car Schedule. The 2022 Ohio Valley Legend Car Series and Atomic Speedway Season both open on Friday March 18th alongside the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. Additionally, this allows us to promote harder to the Chillicothe market that yes, you have a Championship Locally you can chase” 2022 saw a resurrection of the legendary dirt oval in Southern, Ohio, with the acquisition by Charlie Vest, Atomic Speedway is being reinvigorated to the heralded track from the past by bringing back the World Of Outlaws and All Star Circuit of Champions while increasing on the already fantastic racing of the Lucas Oil Late Model Series.

He continued to say “Working with Charlie Vest has been very easy and he has been open to anything we wanted to do” he also said “Our hope is that this will allow drivers who can not run for a Series Championship to still have a bigger picture goal to shoot for.
“We are excited to be able to be able to do this in 2022” says Series Director Steven Partin. There will be no races dropped from the total however, every Atomic race will count toward the Track Championship. Points will be collected at each event exactly as they are for the Series Title (see the NLCA Rulebook for Points Breakdowns). The winner will be named the 2022 Atomic Speedway Legend Car Champion and receive awards. Now, drivers will have even more to shoot for in 2022 with Atomic Speedway and National Legend Car Association (the sanctioning body over the Ohio Valley Legend Car Series) Officials have agreed to crown an Atomic Speedway Track Champion at the end of the season! Although these events at Atomic will also count toward an Overall Series Championship, they will now also collect toward a year end track title. Many racers, veteran and rookie alike were pleased to see the tack back after not having a points paying event since 2019. Atomic Speedway will host 11 Events on the Ohio Valley Legend Car Series schedule this upcoming season. Not only was the series back in 2022, but it was evident that it was back in a big way.
